Who was not healed by Jesus? Why? Secondly the scripture definitely does not actually say Paul's thorn in the flesh was sickness. You cannot say at all that it was. Secondly, I have known many believers who had died of cancer and other sicknesses, but the bible clearly says a doubled minded person won't receive from God. Why? Because having requires no fear and no doubt. If you claim healing but aren't sure whether he will or not then you cancel out your faith. A double mind. You need to get it
WOF is not based on greed, self righteousness, false teaching or lies. This is what people say when they have been hurt by someone from WOF churches. What ever happened to forgiveness? That has been forgotten and replaced with revenge. And you ask me whom I serve?
Did Christ heal EVERYBODY ? I have a very good friend, a very Godly woman who passed away from liver cancer a little under two years ago. There were friends of hers ''claiming her healing'', but she died anyway...So, is God so capricious and demanding that he wants his children to cry and weep and say please, please,please heal me ... Did Christ roll up in time to save Lazarus?..Yeah, he was raised from the dead bythe Lord, but he [lazarus] DID die again..God does NOT heal everyone
I know Justin Peter's. He is telling the TRUTH!!! I was in the WOF and he helped me. He was in it too. He goes out 40 weeks a yr in a special made van to help others who do love the Lord, not to be deceived by these false teachers/pastors. I've had 34 surgeries, 33 outpatients & my 19 specialists say ole Tammy here can die any day. well, I lost my mom due to cancer on March 2nd, 2013 and I helped her get out of this heresy. I meant 2 put this on the 3rd session. PRAISE BE JESUS NAME!!
If people stopped twisting the scripture to see God as a God who might or might not step into a situation and begin to see God as he promises to redeem, restore, to heal, to provide and yes dare I say it, to bless, then we would see a much more united Christian church. It was Jesus desire to see all healed, but not all believed. It is God's plan to see all bless so that they may be a blessing to others, but not all believe. A VERY good book you might like to read is ''Through Gates of Splendor''...written by the widow of one of four missionaries murdered in 1954 by the Auca indians of Ecuador...your postulations that believers are guaranteed prosperity and health and safety will be scattered like the morning fog facing a hot sun. These individuals ''lived'' Christ's admonition about being a living sacrifice....I challenge you to read it with an open mind.

If you believe that we as believers have no right to physical healing, then you have just diminished the Work of Christ, more than half his ministry, and you have not understood anything you have read in Gods Word. ALL WHO BELIEVED WERE HEALED. The scripture does not say that Paul's thorn in his side was sickness or that it wasnt healed. Your conclusion is pure speculation and assumption.
No, it's biblical. If you actually read your bible, Jesus was very direct that Itwas people's faith that healed them. To call that heresy is to call Jesus a heretic, actually the Scribes and Pharisees already did that. How do I know? Healing is the evidence of faith in the healing Christ. You can speak doctrine, you can tell people anything, but faith in action produces results.

Jesus said "...Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth." (Luke 12:15) The prosperity gospel is not Christian.
I think it very important to understand this proverb in the light of old/new testament, and per Christ and post Christ. Authority plays a large role in how we act and respond to circumstances in life. You need to look at the bigger picture and then zoom in. Prv.30:7-9 is one mans response in his limited understanding.
Pumpsumiron you are right on. I am happy you know the truth and can discern fact from friction. The wof is full of false doctrines concocted by the devil himself. Stay strong for you are not alone in this battle, for the LORD is with those who know HIM and the truth. GOD Bless
Even those who follow the Word of Faith movement need to learn to discern. I got caught up in so many things, not because I was so easily deceived, but because the pastor/shepherd ignore the obvious and does not correct. The pastor I was under once was asked why he allowed such things to happen. He said he just closes his eyes and hopes for the best. The only thing is, he did not realize that God loved me so much to rescue me from it and told me to leave the church.
Ah. peterfergs is perpetuating the WoF doctrine that if you don't get healed, then you didn't have enough faith. It's heresy and it is blasphemy, as is the garbage about words having power. It's New Age mysticism and New Thought, through and through. You say " If you really knew these people's hearts and intentions" but you say that they really didn't believe God in their hearts. How would you know? So you have hypocrisy to add to that.
